Finally the 13th of November has come and gone, and The Wrath of the Lich King is upon us.

All members couldn't wait and set out to lvl and lvl just to hear and see that DING moment again. *tissue*

When the majority of Shield had reached 71 and up, we set out to face new challenges and new enemies in the starting dungeon's: UTGarde Keep & Nexus

First up was UTGarde keep and we set out without any knowledge. The whole dungeon is basicly pinguin/sheep/tank & spank up to last boss. There the tank has to watch out for the AOE like effects. With as end result:

The next day we set out to explore another instance and we came out @ Nexus. With a slightly altered group we set out to conquer this dungeon aswell. Again without any knowledge, wich bit us in the ass @ the first boss.
The famous answer to the question: Does this boss do anything special? was answered with: Nah, just tank and spank..... :P

And the first wipe had arrived. :D

So we started over and decided to read up on it just to be sure. After that it was easy. We ran through the bosses easy after that. With that done we were ready to take on the final boss. Again the tank stated Tank and Spank. And suddenly we were all flying throught the air in purple beams.. A nice fun fair attraction. 8)

We did however clear it, the second attempt.

Yesterday and the day before Shield of azeroth reached a milestone. Kara was finally cleared by our guild, WooT

With the help of some friendly members from the Carpe Jugulum guild we set out to finally bring kara to it's knees.

On saterday the mayhem started. After about 3 hours we had cleared up to Curator. We did wipe a few times, mostly due to some lack of knowledge and inexperience of a couple of people that came along. But that didnt stop us from having some fun.

After the curator we called it a night and made the deal we would continue sunday @ 8pm. As said we started out and went for Aran, Illhoof and then we ran to the last boss, the almighty prince. Wich we brought to his knees. Muhahaha.

Here by i would like to thank everyone in our guild that came along and made this happpen for our us, cheers to all.
Further more thanks to Luthas, Southheal & Yettah of the carpe jugulum guild, who were happy to tag along in our time of player need.

Special thanks from me go out to SJ who really helped me with the loot and Yettah (from carpe jugulum) who explained most of the tactics of the bosses. Thx girls :)

I hope we can keep this up and do more of these tours. Cya on the next run. Your's truely, Poli.

There is a new Ventrilo server up! This ventrilo server is hosted by Hostventrilo.com. Ofcourse this costs money, but at least we can rest assured that it is completely safe! Also the server is completely private, and we will make seperate accounts for each of you, with your own passwords. I hope you can all use Ventrilo again now without worrying. Thanks to Kodie, who paid for the Ventrilo server hosting and who setup the server so we can all chat once more!

Last saterday another step forwards for the shield :)

Karazhan lost 2 bosses to the soa crew and we stole 5 epic's from them :P . Gratz to all that got a drop

We still wiped a few times but less then before. So good job on that part.
I wanna thanks everyone for attending the run and hope to see ya comming saterday. :)

P.s: Keep this up and keep looking for some new recruits cause it's still a bit tight concerning the players we can get together for a 10 man run.

Yesterday we finally went again. Kara shook on it's supports when soa arrived. :)

Despite the lacking of 3 players we decided to give it a go. Got some outsiders to help out and did fairly well @ the beginning. We took down attunemen but then got stuck @ maiden due to missing tactics.

We did wipe a few times, but hey that is part of the game.
I wanna thanks everyone for having the patience to stick around and not throw in the towel after a first attempt. Really appreciate it.

Further more i would say. Keep your eye's out for tanks and maybe some other dps so next time we can do it with all guild. Poli.
